hello hello where ever you are:)
tonight i am in no-wheres-ville pennsylvania on my way to sunny maryland!
while xanga and i haven't been "kindred spirits" (that was for rachel gasser - my mother and i recently journeyed down the treacherous trail of anne of green gables.....never again my friends. never again) .....i'm not even sure where i was going with that - don't you ever want to use a phrase just to use it?
here are several valuable morsels of delectable knowledge i'm sure you all would love to know
1. warning warning! WHILE YOU MAY THINK THAT THE PRODUCT ON THE LEFT IS A HELPFUL AIDE TO HEADACHES, PAINS, ETC. IT IS A FARCE! ....the other evening i was minding my business and took 2 advil liquid gels for a measly headache. within an hour i looked like quasi motto's cousin minus the hump on my back. NO JOKE. my eyes swelled up....kind of my whole face and i was all congested and knocked out....hilarious actually.
2. while somewhat to mostly less interesting then the above i have decided to enter the popcorn panic . for those of you who are unaware its this ridiculous 5 mile marathon we have in valparaiso indiana for the popcorn fest. i'm recruiting running partners. beware. viki, jess, and i have something in common:)
3. in addition to my list of things to do before i'm 30, i've added go to italy and find a real live erspamer. my dad told me today that his aunt and uncle went over there and randomly the guy who was pumping their gas turned out to be an erspamer!
4. so - in the last weeks of school a bunch of cedarvilians and others around the world were apart of this global commute for "invisible children". about maybe 600 of us met in columbus and walked for about 1.5 hr. and had signs, chanted, answered questions, and then we camped out on ohio state campus - so fun!

here's the website http://www.invisiblechildren.com its all about these children in uganda that live in constant fear of being kidnapped and forced to be soldiers in a rebel army - we were pretty much a part of a huge way to raise awareness. i'd never been involved with anything like that - it was AMAZING. - I know that's random but it really matters and God's been challenging me to let the things that break His heart break my own.
last but not least - a commemoration of my hall - oh the randomness. love.

ps. i'll be back at wolbi in 2 weeks and i am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED! |
